The prize for the best television news report was awarded to the British film, BBC Paralympic World Cup.

It was directed by Alastair McIntyre and produced by Tony Garrett. The prize was handed out by the president of the jury and Attila Ábrahám, honorary Secretary of State and President of the National Sports Office.

In the commercial category, Winning Spike Shoes, a Slovakian film directed by Borivoj Horinek, and Guide, a Portuguese film directed by Albano Homem De Mello, received a shared prize. The prizes were handed out by the president of the jury and Csaba Horváth, II. District Mayor.

The winner of the best music video award was World Wheelchair Curling Championships 2004, a Swiss music video directed by Ingeborg Wyss-Hurni. The prize was handed out by the president of the jury and Tibor Bakonyi, Deputy Mayor of Budapest.

The prize for the best portrait film was awarded to Athens 2004 - Paralympics from the viewpoint of a Champion, a Hungarian film directed by Éva Tamás. The prize was handed out by the president of the jury and Pál Szeles, head of the Commercial Department at Duna Television. Since Duna Television was the main media partner of the festival it also awarded the producers with a special prize and an offer to broadcast the film on TV.

In the documentary category, Three Hundredths of a Second, an Israeli film directed by Pascale Noa Berkovitch proved to be the best. The prize was handed out by the president of the jury and Pál Nádas, President of the Hungarian Paralympic Committee.

The prize for the best picture was awarded to the Greek director, Antonios Rellas, for Waves of the Aegean. The prize and the award of SAGEM Hungary and Cobra Computer were handed out by the president of the jury and József Böjte, Festival Director.

The best feature film was Colours of The Blind, a Chinese film directed by Chen Guoxin. The prize was handed over by the president of the jury and Sir Philip Craven, President of the International Paralympic Committee.
