We invited films to be entered in the Festival that exhibit paralympic sports, athletes, those assisting them, events and emotions. There is no restriction in terms of genre, but the movies screened must have been shown on television already.

Plans call for the films to be shown at the Festival in thematic blocks, according to the following breakdown:

• Feature films
• Documentaries
• Portrait films
• Commercials
• Music videos
• Reports
• Miscellaneous

Following a preliminary selection performed by representatives of the IPC and acknowledged film industry experts, the films received will be screened at several venues. We entered more than 55 films from 20 countries around the world for the Festival. The Festival is not a competition but a review for works of art prepared on this theme; the purpose is to achieve the largest possible publicity for the paralympic movement.
